This introductory class is designed to help new and expectant parents feel confident and prepared for their breastfeeding journey. We’ll cover what’s happening in your body during pregnancy and postpartum as your milk supply develops, along with the practical skills you’ll use once baby arrives.

In this class, you’ll learn:

    •    Breastfeeding positions that support comfort, latch, and long-term success

    •    How to recognize signs of effective milk transfer—and early clues that something isn’t quite right

    •    Troubleshooting common challenges, from latch issues to sore nipples to supply concerns

    •    Bottle-feeding basics and how to introduce bottles in a breastfeeding-friendly way

    •    Who to call for help, including local and virtual lactation resources

  • Pumping Basics

Whether you’re pregnant, newly postpartum, or preparing to support a partner, this class gives you the foundation, clarity, and confidence to begin breastfeeding with realistic expectations and practical tools.
